The James Bond Collection

Do you like Adele's Skyfall? I do. And today it gave me a strange kind of jamesbondesque hunger. I went looking for all the past songs from the 007 movies. It has been a quick & easy hunt, courtesy of Wikipedia (every time it happens, I keep wondering: "how can Wikipedia have a page for every thing I'm looking for? Is it maybe the answer to Bono's secular existential drama I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For?).

Anyway. All the songs are pretty available on Spotify (all but Adele's Skyfall: seen her past attitude toward Spotify, she likely will make it available in June 2018). Half of them are chronologically collected in a nice album from 1983. The rest, I found it elsewhere and added on this playlist. From the languid beauty of the Sixties (Shirley Bassey, Nancy Sinatra) to the poppy perversion of the Eighties (Duran Duran, a-ha) to the pure schizophrenia of the Internet era (Garbage? Madonna?? Chris Cornell??? Alicia Keys & Jack White????).

Enjoy!

... and if you prefer a YouTube version with original opening titles from (almost) each movie, you can take a look to this thing I posted on the website of the Italian paper La Stampa.
